Good online guitar lessons can really sculpt a poor guitarist into a great one over time. They're all the rage for beginners and it's no wonder that more and more musicians are rising from the depths to try their hand at the guitar.

So, you hit the internet and you know exactly what course you're going to begin using right? No? Well that makes sense since they're just way too many to even skim within a day!

This is a short list of the more popular lessons on the internet and an even shorter synopsis of their intentions and how well they hold up to them.

1. Learn And Master Guitar

When you head over to this product's site, you'll find a very graphically appealing template that should get you excited about playing. There's quite a bit of information they provide about the instructor, the DVDs included, and the jam track CDs that beginners can play along with.

The only drawback to this very impressive package is the price that clears $100. For someone that's cheap like me, I would already be off the page and looking for something else.

2. JamPlay

Jamplay definitely has its name as one of the good online guitar lessons since it boasts about having more than one instructor to learn from. Not only do you have the choice of instructors, but you can learn from them via a live webcam broadcast! Wow! They do away with pre-recorded tutorials in some instances.

Even with its very modest pricing, it's a pretty great value, but there are a few other costs that you are suggested to pay for additional features after you've already joined. I'm not certain that they're still there, but it's not fun to be confronted with them.

3. Guitar Superstar

This set of lessons for playing guitar online is fairly new, but has established itself very quickly as one of the top dogs regarding instrument courses. Honestly, I haven't used this one and can only go by secondhand knowledge of others who have, but the general feedback I've received is of satisfaction.

The only beef that I have with this system is their claim on the front page about how you will be able to play 20 notes in one second! That's really good if it's true.

4. Jamorama Guitar

Jamorama has been around for quite a few years and has continued to dominate the market regarding good online guitar lessons. The real draw of this course has been the honesty and background behind the instructor named Ben Edwards. He does a good job of representing himself and putting a friendly face on the course.

The other courses sure do have some awesome videos and forums to offer their customers, but the original software package that comes with Jamorama isn't something to scoff at. Some of the things included are:

* A fully-functioning metronome.

* A guitar tuner.

* A game to help you read music.

* A game to improve your pitch interpretation.
Author Resource:- Any of these courses would be a good choice for online guitar beginner lessons, but you should really check additional opinions before putting down the money. For example, here's a first-hand experience of someone's encounter with Jamorama.
