A question that many people are often wondering is just what drives someone to cheat the spouse of the person who has cheated, and possible friends and other family. So what drives men and women to cheat on their partners? Are there any concrete patterns that will lead one to be unfaithful? Or is it simply something that happens, it seems too often, in life?
For some reason it seems that a man or a woman may become bored with their spouse. Or they just get tired of doing the same thing day and night, and need a bit of a change. You would think people would think of something else besides going out and cheating. Heck even a choice of an extreme sport would seem smart!
At times it may be because they don t feel like their current partner is paying them enough attention. It doesn t all have to about sex either; it could just be they don t feel appreciated.
With technology comes a lot of temptation. Not that in the past people who were tempted to cheat wouldn t find ways. But now you have computers that you can go online and chat with people. Meeting someone on a dating site or a plain old sex site can be done easily and quickly.
These things were not available before, and if a person wanted to cheat it would be harder to do. Possibly a person they worked with would be the prime candidate for that affair. But now there is a world that is opened up on the internet. People they may have never met before can be easily introduced through online dating sites.
It s easy to think that the person your spouse turns to should be at fault too. But if they met through an online location, you never know what that person thinks. They could think they are hooking up with a single man, one who is just out of a relationship. They could have absolutely no clue that they are dealing with a man or women who is married.
When you sit down and think about what drives men and women to cheat on their partners, you can t always answer it. Sometimes it s that boredom that is set in after being with the same person for many years. But that doesn t answer the question when you think of spouses who cheat after only being together a short time. There shouldn t be boredom there right?
Of course you do have the factor that one of the partners is hoping to have more sex in their relationship. They may have discussed it with the other person, and they may not have. They simply decide instead of waiting around for more sex, they will look for it in another place. And guess what with the internet it s so easy to find someone who doesn t want a real relationship. Unfortunately there are many sites that focus on people just looking for another to have fun with.
