Learn to play guitar programs are vital sources of information for beginning guitarists, and they have been for years. Usually a new player surfs around the web for a half hour, finds a course that promises some great results and then signs up without a second thought.

Well, it's time to give a second thought about learning to play the guitar from online courses because in many cases they won't work, and do you know what it ultimately depends on? It depends on you. That's right. You're the one that responsible unfortunately.

However, it isn't necessarily you per say, but it's more about those who are not willing to give their best effort. Take a look at these 6 reasons why guitar programs won't work and see if you can prevent unfavorable results.

1. The time you make for practice isn't enough. Putting that guitar across your lap, struggling with a couple chords, and then putting it away after five minutes of not getting it isn't going to get you anywhere. If you expect to play your favorite songs and make all of your friends jealous, you must be willing to put in at least 20 minutes a day at the very minimum.

2. You're inconsistent with your practice schedule. So during your last practice, you were very good about going for 40 minutes, but the next sessions were only 17 minutes. Do you think that's going to cut it for learn to play guitar programs? For best results, you need to stay on a consistent track to be certain the material is being absorbed into your head and fingers.

3. You have doubts even before you begin. Have you ever heard this? "There are two men. One thinks he's correct and the other thinks he's incorrect and they're both right." That's why if you come into playing the guitar believing that you're not going to succeed, more than likely you won't. Keep a positive mind and you'll find that better results will come with each practice.

4. You don't own your own instrument. Ok, so you're borrowing your friend's guitar and it's perfectly fine right? What happens when the day comes that he suddenly needs his instrument back? Buy your own guitar and you won't have a major hole when you're running through your learn to play guitar programs.

5. Your goals are too difficult and broad. There are lots of beginners who want to learn how to bust out a fifteen minute solo during a song, but it's unlikely that you'll even come close to anything like that as a beginner. Keep your goals reasonable and short so you stay motivated and dedicated to the process.

6. You're not organized. Your room is a mess, you show up late to work, and you constantly forget things. It's difficult to tell whether someone like is going to succeed with a consistent schedule of practicing, even with the help of learn to play guitar programs.
