You may be very new-found to the whole notion of Personal Development or don't even know, that daily you may be applying principles that have been instrumental in many of your outcomes in your life. I know I was. And yeah, like the majority I am a good individual, do the right things, try to continue to be positive about everyday life - but if you're not developing and growing as a person daily, then life becomes pretty boring and predictable.
I saw this excerpt on a social site one day "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone"…And I believe that statement to be so true. To press through obstacles and fears and adversities is the only way you will really live and really be happy and know the true importance of facing challenges - winning - thus receiving success in whatsoever area you are working on.
So what does all this entail? Well, really it means that each day you should be working on your 'inner self'. The language you say or live by, the books you read, the magazines and newspapers, television and information you permit into your mind. The people you align yourself with socially, or those in business - Is it all good for your mind?
You really need to continually build and grow as person and as a leader. Do this by reading personal development materials, inspirational audio and cds, attending seminars or your business conferences that will build your confidence. Learning to focus on your passions and goals (you do have these written down - right?) on what you really want to be and have out of life. Surrounding yourself with successfully people. These people will movitate and constantly inspire you. Always learning new skills yourself, then giving back from what you have learned, hence adding worth to others around you.
At the end of the day how you see individuals around you is a indication of who you are and who you are being. If you just see downright negative, unpleasant people around you then truthfully, you need to have a genuinely good look at how you feel and how are Being everyday. But if you see around you, nothing but trustworthy and upbeat and happy people then your 'Being' and your 'Inner-self' is right on the mark.
And to get there you need to be focused on where you are headed - taking challenges head on - being grateful for what you have and what surrounds you and also never forgeting to enjoy and celebrate your wins.
So ask yourself this - How are people seeing You today? And more importantly - How are you 'Being' today?
