People often get fascinated by the world of arts. There are very well recognized people who have attained the name and also fame in the world of art.

Among all other popular arts, the most popular art is paiting. Painting is such an intriguing art that is believed to be one of the finest means to convey our ideas, emotions, etc...

When it comes to paintings we can never for the great painter "Vincent van Gogh". This legendary painter got his fame established in the world of art but it was too late by then. When Vincent was alive his paintings were not even looked upon. Individuals never valued his art during his life. But, once he left this world, people started realizing the worth of his amazing paintings. After his demise individuals started understanding the excellence of his art. It after his death that the people could understand what he wanted to say through his paintings. His ideas, thinkings, queries, answers all revealed so attractively in his paintings that if perhaps a person desires to say something but is falling short of words he could just get a painting to show it firmly with good understanding.

Vincent was born in a Teodorus family residing in a very small village of Groot-Zundert on 30-March-1853 . His wife's name was Anna who was formerly from Karbentus. Van Gogh was mentally disabled. All this happened because of the birth of a dead child. This incident made great negative impact on Van Gogh's mind which resulted into the loss of his mental health.

Vincent's childhood was a extremely joyful going kind because he was born and brought up in a family who was sophisicated-minded. He had 5 siblings. Vincent was the oldest amongst them. Four of his siblings had committed suicide. Vincent was very fond of paintings. This art attracted him and hence he chose to make this art his career when was at 16 years of his age. Before this, he sold paintings painted by other painters.

He started doing work in a European firm named Goupil who was a very popular French art supplier. He had fallen in love with Eugenie Loyer. But she refused him because she was actually engaged. This had a very bad impact on him and he was in a state of shock. This resulted in the first act of melancholy that later turned in to a sadness. He started performing badly in his work which resulted in low competence. Then he went to Amsterdam for understanding theology but couldn't pass the exam. After that he went to a missionary school in Brussels. Finishing his education he went to Borinage, Belgium. There he stayed in barracks and slept on straw like the other poor miners of that region. There Vincent began to paint and numerous people motivated him to do so. The art work of Jean-Fran inspired him deeply. His one of the best works is "potato-eater" that shows a theme of god-fearing, hard working individuals.

Through many ups and downs in life this man had a real tragic history. But then his art of painting made him lively with full of colors and also life with his lovely and also message conveying paintings.
