In comparison of this is Granite that is an igneous rock which is very hard & strong. They're grey in colour but can vary depending upon composition. It's mostly present in large shape. As it is quite strong, it has become very popular in construction activities. Also Granite flooring, tables, platforms have become popular these days. These are trusted as they are resilient and have a long lifetime. They can withstand water, fire, temperature, etc. Aberdeen is built mainly by local granite and hence has been named ‘the granite city’. Granite stones are found in abundance on earth’s surface, mostly in areas of England and Scotland. Because it is present in large quantities, granite is not too costly.

These days stones have taken lead as everything, be it jewellery or the floorings and many things in between them are made in stone. As stones have acquired so much significance in our lives, it becomes important that most people are aware and has adequate information about it.
