There's not much I didn't love about the Mutha Hubba MSR Carbon Reflex 3-Person Tent. It's not the lightest tent on the market, but considering you probably will be able to share the load, a few ounces more or less a big deal.

Although I'm used to a few more, the 8 pegs and 6 guy-outs held the tent strong in what I call the Canadian super-storm that hit on our first hike. The bottom line was that the tent stood like a statue and had no leaks. Period. On the first super cold night we had a little condensation because we shut all the doors tight. This problem was easily solved by leaving a crack in the top of the vestibule doors - easy to do with the double zippers.

There is plenty of room in this tent for three large adults and their gear. It's strong, sturdy and comfortable. It's a really nice tent.

Here's what MSR says about the Mutha Hubba Carbon Reflex 3:
NEW FOR 2010: A no-compromise design with a weight that's almost too light to believe, the Carbon Reflex 3 delivers an astonishing amount of livable protection for three at just 4 lbs 7 oz. Fully-featured with a factory-taped bathtub floor, two-doors and vestibules and the most reliable waterproof coatings available, there exists no better combination of ultralight, reliable and 3-person-livability.
o Hyperlight: 4lbs 7oz. trail weight makes a cavernous two person shelter or use it for three at just over a pound per person.
o Reliable Protection: Carbon Fiber poles and welded reinforcements minimize weight without compromising strength.
o Livable: Unique geometry provides ample center height and steep sidewalls to maximize useable space.
o Full-featured: Complete with two doors, two full vestibules, factory-taped seams and integrated gear pockets.
o Versatile: Sets up as a double-wall tent or with just the fly and footprint for a compact, flyweight shelter at just 3 lb 5 oz. (1.5kg).
