Finally, look for ways to make the room personal. Find photo frames in bright colors and let your child display favorite pictures of friends and family. Bulletin boards or dry erase boards are also a great choice for kids to keep up with homework assignments and show off great test grades. Decorative pillows shaped like your child's initials are a fun addition to the bed, and initials can also be used as wall art for a personal touch. Many kids love to paint one wall or one section of a wall with chalkboard paint. Then they can draw their own custom illustrations to use as art on their walls. Chalkboard paint will give your child an excellent outlet for creativity without destroying your walls.
