The GMC has released their latest version of the 2005 GMC Denali, a GMC's version of the General Motors SUVs along with Chevrolet and Cardillac nameplates! The 2009 GMC Denali, this model gives you an aura of confidence on the road because of its looks. It has a muscular form and wide firmly planted stance. It also gives an aggressive and performance-oriented appearance because of its minimal overhangs, large wheels, sleek headlamps and low roof profile.
The 2005 GMC Denali has a torque of 370 lb/ft. With its V8 engine, it is capable of 325 horsepower. The disadvantage of this kind of power is that it can go around the city at only 12 mpg and around the highway at 16 mpg.
Unlike the 2005 GMC Denali, the 2009 GMC Denali is capable of 326 horsepower. The 2009 GMC Denali has a two-mode hybrid system that is combined with an E-85 ethanol capable engine. Its fuel content consists of 85% ethanol and just 15% gas. It has a 4.9L SIDI engine, with Active Fuel Management powers, making it more fuel-efficient.
The 2005 GMC Denali also has GM's Quadrasteer 4-wheel steering, which reduces the turning circle at low speeds and is designed to enhance stability at higher speeds and when towing. While the 2009 GMC Denali has a 4-link suspension design that uses coil over shocks and a decoupled stabilizer bar to enhance comering control, reduce body roll and optimize longitudinal compliance. In short it is a truck that would be capable of hauling cargo on twisting roads.
The 2009 Denali has a payload capacity of 1,100 pounds and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. With stiffness that is greater than most conventional, body on frame trucks, the 2009 Denali's concept unibody structure supports a very capable truck platform. It also will serve as the mounting point for a 4-wheel independent suspension that could give the vehicle its performance feel on the road.
The 2005 Denali has 3-rows of seats that can accommodate up to nine persons. But the third row can be easily folded, flipped, slides or removed to suits your needs. It even has an adjustable second row bucket seat that offers an excellent support. Whereas the 2009 Denali only has two rows of seats but the midgate can be opened. So the second row seats can be folded to accommodate in the bed something longer like skis or surfboards.
